Janine Paulson is a Chicago-based jewelry artist who first took an interest in jewelry in college before interning with King Reld, a Pittsburgh jeweler. Following that, they were hired as an apprentice at David I. Helfer, an iconic jewelry store in the heart of Pittsburgh's jewelry district. They began creating their own pieces in their spare time, starting modestly using stainless steel and cold connections, and gradually improved their craft, eventually employing silver and a deep focus on lost wax castings.
